Casablanca – Morocco will experience warm weather across several regions today, with possible scattered showers in the Rif, Atlas Mountains and far southeast, according to the General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM).

Temperatures will vary widely across the country, reaching 37°C in Laayoune and Dakhla, while Ifrane will record a high of 20°C. Agadir and Marrakech will see temperatures reach around 30°C, while Casablanca will record a high of 24°C.

The DGM forecasts scattered showers over the Rif, Atlas Mountains and far southeastern regions. Low clouds will also form during the morning and night along the Atlantic and Mediterranean coasts and in the Moulouya Valley, with possible local drizzle and fog.

Daytime temperatures will rise in the inland plains west of the Atlas, the Saiss region, inland Souss and the southeast. Other parts of the country will experience slightly lower or relatively stable temperatures.

Moderate wind gusts are expected in the southern provinces and around Tangier. Sea conditions will range from calm to slightly rough in the Mediterranean, while the Strait of Gibraltar will see slightly rough to rough seas.

The Atlantic coast between Larache and Tan-Tan will experience rough seas, with conditions becoming very rough at times. Other stretches of the Atlantic coast will see slightly rough to rough conditions.

Residents and travelers are advised to follow local weather updates, particularly in areas where fog may reduce visibility and along the Atlantic coast, where rough seas could affect maritime activities.
