African Cup of Nations: Morocco in Group A with South Africa, Cape Verde and Angola

The draw of the African Cup of nations, which will take place in January-February 2013 was conducted on Wednesday in Durban, South Africa.

Morocco will play in Group A along with South Africa, the host country, Cape verde and Angola.

Group B includes Ghana, Democratic Republic of Congo, Niger and Mali. Group C includes Zambia, Ethiopia, Burkina Fasso and Nigeria. Group D includes Ivory Cost, Togo, Tunisia and Algeria.

Morocco will play its first game against Angola on January 19, 2012, its second game against Cape Verde and the last game of the group against the host country, South Africa.

This is the third time in a row that Morocco falls in the same group as the host country. It was in the same group as Ghana and Gabon, respectively the host countries of the 2008 and 2012 editions of the African Cup of Nations.
