Finally, the Embassy of Indonesia in Rabat offers courses to learn and/or practice the Indonesian language (bahasa Indonesia) every Monday and Wednesday.
On October 1, 2012, the Embassy of Indonesia in Rabat cooperated with the Minister of Culture and the Republic of Indonesia to introduce the Indonesian Studies Program at Mohammed V University in Rabat.
It aims to promote the Indonesian language, culture and tourism, in order to bridge the cultural gap between the Morocco and Indonesian people.
Indonesia encompasses more than 18,000 islands, making it the largest archipelago in the world. This fourth most populous country has a population of approximately 240 million.
Over 750 native languages are spoken in this area, and there are at least 350 different ethnic groups. It is the largest Muslim country in the world, and it also houses significant Christian, Hindu and Buddhist populations.
Because of its size and location, it is an important member of the international community.
As a travel destination, Indonesia is an enjoyable and affordable place to visit. The official language of Indonesia is Bahasa Indonesia.
This is the language that unifies the world’s fourth most populous country. It is a standardized version of Mala and it is one of the most widely spoken languages in the world (after Mandarin, English, Hindi, Spanish and Arabic.)
Indonesian is a form of Malay (generally, speakers of Indonesian can communicate with Malay speakers), a language spoken in a number of other countries.
Malay is also the national language of Malaysia, Brunei Darussalam and Singapore. It is also spoken by minority communities in Southern Thailand and other areas of the world.
Indonesian is currently studied in more than 45 countries worldwide. Some of them are Australia, Japan, Vietnam, Egypt, and Italy.
