Washington- Houda, a Moroccan living in Spain, is participating in a reality show currently broadcast on Spanish television channel Cuatro. The show “Who Wants to Marry my Son?” (In Spanish: “Quien quiere Casarse con mi hijo”) features five bachelors, who still live with their mothers, who are looking for wives.
The Moroccan participant’s background, whose mission is to please one of the mothers, an ex-military official, is particularly interesting. Working as a croupier in a casino in the Iberian Peninsula, Houda, 27, is also bisexual—but the icing on the cake is that Houda’s father is allegedly a Moroccan consul.
“I am an atypical Muslim. I don’t consider myself a Muslim, I eat pork, I don’t observe Ramadan, and I celebrate Christmas ” noted Houda when she was asked if she was a Muslim.
She went on to say that her father is a politician and he works as a consul.
“My father is a politician, he works in a consulate and is a consul,” she added.
For now, the identity of the consul in question has yet to be disclosed. If the information were to be divulged, this could create a lot of noise in Morocco.
