Fez- In an exclusive interview with FIFA, Ronaldinho, the Brazilian star and two time World player of the year, said that he would never forget the affection that the Moroccan public showed towards him since he arrived in Morocco.

“Even at a hugely disappointing moment, the warmth I’ve been shown since I arrived here is something special. It was out of the ordinary, a very special affection,” he said commenting on the enthusiasm showed by Moroccan fans towards him.

“It’s very gratifying to see even the opponents treat me like this,” the No10 said. “These kinds of gestures stay with you for the rest of your life,” he added.

One of the highlights of the end of match between Raja of Casablanca and Atletico Mineiro on Wednesday is when all of Raja players hastened to greet the Brazilian player.

In a unprecedented move, Raja Casablanca players Vivien Mabide and Deo Kanda stripped Ronalidnho of his shoes after asking his permission.

Raja of Casablanca beat Atletico Mineiro 3-1 following a heroic game and qualified to the final of the FIFA Club World Cup. The Moroccan team will meet Bayern Munich on Saturday in Marrakech stadium.
