Ramallah (West Bank), Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas expressed, Thursday, his thanks to King Mohammed VI for his support to the Palestinian people.
The Palestinian president has expressed his gratitude to the King “for all the support and solidarity that the Sovereign and the Moroccan people have shown for the Palestinian people,” Secretary-General of Morocco’s Party of Progress and Socialism (PPS), Mohamed Nabil Benabdellah, told the Moroccan News Agency (MAP) following a meeting of a PPS delegation with Mahmoud Abbas.
According to Benabdellah, the Palestinian president also highlighted the efforts made to reach the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and the prospects for the Palestinian cause, following the atrocious Israeli aggression against Gaza.
The PPS delegation kicked off last Saturday a working and solidarity visit to Palestine, which will last till September 2.
Led by the party’s Secretary General, Mohamed Nabil Benabdellah, the delegation is scheduled to meet several Palestinian officials and visit several Palestinian cities, historical and religious sites.
The delegation will also visit the Gaza Strip to enquire about the human tragedy caused by the Israeli war machine.
