Rabat – After its huge success in Berlin, The Talent Summit, a recruitment forum for technophile students, has chosen Paris as its first international destination for expansion.
The event has witnessed enormous success for three consecutive years in Berlin and is going to be implemented in Paris starting 2017. The event’s aim is to create a unifying platform where digital startups, innovation consulting firms and innovation directorates of large enterprises can meet the best and most ambitious European students.
The city of Paris, in its desire to attract talent and promote innovative jobs and a futuristic outlook among youth, will support the initiative of five students and entrepreneurs from Polytechnique, Sciences Po and HEC, three Parisian institutes.
The Talent Summit offers a solid solution to companies who are finding it increasingly difficult to recruit the right talent because mainstream generalist recruitment forums are no longer sufficient for their needs.
The Paris Talent Summit will take place from February 2-3, 2017 and bring together 150 students who, according to the event coordinators, are not only dynamic, ambitious, diverse and share a strong interest in technology and innovation, but also have tremendous professional potential and strong profiles in various specialties and backgrounds such as engineering, business, design, software developing and programming.
Selected students, coming from the Grandes Ecoles establishment as well as universities in France and abroad, will have the opportunity to meet more than 40 companies among which are Trello, Jumia, Theodo, Botify and Afrostream while working on various themes and workshops and interviews. The students will also be introduced to the corporate cultures of their potential employers.
By bringing together Europe’s most ambitious junior talents and the most exciting companies currently operating in the region, the Talent Summit conferences will allow for a more personalized and thorough recruitment, hopefully resulting in a greater chance of matching the demand of recruiting companies to the supply of students and graduates.
