Rabat – Following its overwhelming victory in Sunday’s clash against Granada, Barcelona has beaten rival Sevilla with a 3-0 victory at home (Camp Nou), in Barcelona.
Barcelona’s squad was the first to reach Sevilla’s goalkeeper. Uruguayan star striker, Luis Suarez, opened the scoring at the 25-minute mark. Three minutes later, Barcelona’s key forward, Lionel Messi, scored the second goal for his club.
Sevilla’s goalkeeper, Sergio Rico, couldn’t escape Messi’s strong strikes for too long. Messi scored the victory goal at minute 33.
With this win, Barcelona is now classified first in La Liga’s table with 69 points. They are followed by Real Madrid, whose squad is fighting to get back its first position in today’s match against Leganes.
