Rabat – The 7th Annual International Humor Festival, “Marrakech du Rire,” will kick off June 28 and go until July 2. With several well known comedians participating in the event, laughter is guaranteed.
The 7th Annual “Marrakech du Rire” will be marked by the participation of a variety of talented French and Arabic speaking humorists and a richly diverse program, announced the event’s organizers in a communiqué on May 2.
Scheduled for five days, the festival will feature the presence of the “Jamel comedy club,” and “Eko and his friends,” as well as rising talents like Ahmed Sylla and Rachid Badouri.
The Festival will also see the inauguration of a new venue, “the Prestigia space,” which will host event performances during the event of the “Jamel Comedy Club.”
Media coverage of the festival has made it a major event in the Moroccan cultural scene.
