The Moroccan National Railways Office (ONCF) announced new MAD 2 to 3 increases in railway ticket prices.
Rabat – Morocco’s National Railway Office (ONCF) announced that starting Monday, May 6, 2019, train ticket prices will increase by MAD 2 to 3 for journeys on two vital tracks: Casablanca-Rabat and Rabat-Kenitra.

On Rabat-Kenitra track, second-class train fares moved from MAD 12-22 to MAD 18, regardless of the purchase date for these tickets.
The price changes also affect first-class travel.
“With the opening of the new Temara station, which has made it possible to increase the number of TNRs providing Casa-Rabat-Kenitra links from Thursday 02 May, the ONCF is continuing to work to make day-to-day commuters easier by course shortened sharply 55 minutes only between Casablanca and Rabat, and a better control of punctuality reaching 91%,” an announcement from ONCF said.
“In this sense, a wide range of services will be made available to customers, through which ONCF aims to ensure a smooth journey for commuters and to offer a high value-added experience,” added the announcement.
