Rabat – Morocco’s Health Ministry confirmed 7,336 new COVID-19 infections, 12 new COVID related deaths, and 2,082 recoveries in the past 24 hours.
Active COVID-19 cases in morocco now stand at 42,282, of which 317 are critically ill patients.
With the new cases confirmed in the 24 hours, Morocco’s total number of COVID infections reached 1,012,042, including 14,927 deaths, and 954,833 recoveries.
Morocco has fully vaccinated 22,983,581 (first and second dose), while about 4,598,327 people received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
Meanwhile, 3,540,594 people have been administered a booster shot of COVID vaccines.
The Casablanca-Settat region reported the majority of COVID cases and deaths in the past 24 hours (4,587 cases, nine deaths), followed by Rabat-Sale Kenitra (947 cases, one death), Marrakech-Safi (752 cases), Fez-MEKNES (299 cases), and Tangier-Tetouan Al Hoceima (222 cases, one death).
Souss-Massa reported 151 cases and one death, followed by Beni Mellal Khenifra (135 cases), Draa Tafilalet (90 cases), Oreintal (67 cases), Guelmim Oued Noun (59 cases), Laayoune-Sakia El Hamra (15 cases), and Dakhla Oued Eddahab (12 cases).
