Rabat – Abdel Wahab Abdel Razek, the President of the Egyptian Senate, said he hopes to enact more measures to strengthen Moroccan-Egyptian cooperation, during a visit to Rabat on Tuesday.
Speaking to reporters after a meeting with Morocco’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Nasser Bourita, Abdel Razek said he was satisfied with this visit to Rabat, which he said dealt with all sides of improving the bilateral relations between the two countries.
The Egyptian politician said the meeting was also a chance for the two parties to work on more methods of cooperation in areas of interest.

Morocco and Egypt finalized details for their free trade agreement earlier this year, putting it into practice.
Under the agreement, Renault cars manufactured in Tangier will enter Egyptian markets without paying customs fees, thanks to certifications from The Moroccan Institute for Normalization (IMANOR).
The two countries have been studying channels for improving bilateral and economic ties for several years.
Last year, Egypt’s Minister of Trade Nevine Gamea stressed the importance of economic ties between the two countries, placing measures to attract Moroccan investors and provide them support.
