Rabat – The international hospitality company Hilton has opened its first hotel in Casablanca, Morocco, in a sign that the country is becoming a more prominent tourist destination.

The new unit, which is called Hilton Garden Inn, opened its doors on Wednesday, March 30, the hotel said in a press release.

The hotel has 155 rooms, including 9 suites, all of which are designed with a “cozy and refined layout”.

Guests will be able to experience the breathtaking surroundings of the hotel while enjoying a varied menu of locally-inspired food, Hilton said.

Located in the southern area of Casablanca, Hilton Garden Inn is a part of the Sadiki Group. The group is a Moroccan company headquartered in Casablanca.

The luxury hotel offers its customers the “chic signature” and prestigious services of the Hilton brand, targeting both businessmen and people seeking to relax and take a day off their busy lives, the company said.

The hotel facilities combine comfort and modernity, added the release.

In addition to a fitness center and a swimming pool with a balcony, the hotel offers fully-appointed meeting rooms to host corporate meetings.

During the holy month of Ramadan, the hotel offers its guests a varied menu for Iftar, featuring Moroccan dishes at the Chhiwat L’Khayma, hotel restaurant.

The new Hilton investment in Casablanca shows the long-term appeal of Morocco as a prominent tourist destination.

“Every detail has been carefully thought out to provide our guests with memorable experiences,” said Managing Director of the hotel Karim Helmy.

“Luxury can take on different forms, but with us, it comes in the form of novelty and self-care” added Helmy.

CEO of Sadiki Group Abderrahim Sadiki has also stressed the importance of offering their guests an environment of relaxation and comfort.

Hilton is a multinational hospitality company with 18 brands, hotels in 6,800 locations, and over one million rooms in 122 countries.

Hilton hotels and resorts have hosted over 3 billion visitors over the course of its more than 100 years of history.
