Rabat — Undoubtedly, football is the most popular sport in the world, with an estimated audience of over 3.5 billion fans. Off the pitch, what is the more personal side of the footballers’ lives? 

The phrase “behind every great man is a great woman” rings true in the world of football. A partner who can provide security, stability, and love for the footballer is a blessing that can enable the athlete to fulfill and maintain their success. 

Hiba Abouk 

The Moroccan footballer Achraf Hakimi’s wife Hiba Abouk is a Tunisian – Spanish actress, best known for her roles in television series El Principe.

The couple welcomed their first child in 2020.

The actress has a degree in Islamic culture and she studied Arabic. Abouk is linguistically talented in a more practical manner, she can speak five languages fluently, including Spanish, Arabic, French, English, and Italian.

​​Abouk, and Hakimi were chosen to feature on the October cover issue of famous American fashion magazine Vogue Arabia.

Vogue Arabia described them as an “Arab power couple” because the pair found a “balance between personal and professional obligations,” making the couple a fitting choice for Vogue’s October cover.

Antonela Roccuzzo 

Roccuzzo is the childhood sweetheart and wife of world-famous football legend Lionel Messi. Originally she studied odontology in Rosario before deciding to switch careers and go into modeling.

The couple is from Argentina. Roccuzzo is 34 years old, a year younger than her husband.

They have been together for more than 20 years, their love story saw the couple get married, and they now have three sons. Thiago, born on November 2, 2012; Mateo, born on September 11, 2015; and Ciro, who was welcomed into the world on March 10, 2018.

The model’s Instagram account shows she is also an avid fan of staying in shape, and one of her favorite activities is boxing.

The couple lives in Castelldefels, Barcelona, in a house worth $5.4 million (MAD 58.3 million)

Georgina Rodriguez 
Rodriguez is a popular fashion model and is also the girlfriend of football star Cristiano Ronaldo.
According to the Spanish football newspaper AS, the couple has been together since the two met at a Gucci store, when Rodriguez worked there as a sales manager.
The footballer’s wife is also a model, dancer, and influencer with a substantial 40 million followers. The famous model is originally from the northeastern Spanish city of Jaca.

This relationship is Ronaldo’s first serious relationship since he broke up with Russian model Irina Shyak in 2015. Rodriguez gave birth to Ronaldo’s fourth child in 2017.  

The couple then announced that they were having twins in 2021. On her Instagram page, Rodriguez appears to get along well with all of Ronaldo’s children.

The house where Georgina and Cristiano live is worth $11 million (MAD 117.8 million)  they currently live in  Manchester, UK.

Annekee Molenaar 

Annekee Molenaar is a popular Dutch model and is in a romantic relationship with Bayern Munich’s new player Matthijs De Ligt.

Molenaar took her first step into the modeling business at the age of 16,  she is now a professional model, shooting for international cosmetics and clothing brands.

In addition to her job, Molenaar is attending law school, according to her Instagram, her interests include traveling, surfing, and yoga.

The couple has been dating for four years now; they have not had any children, but they have two dogs, Cara Luna and Bella. They enjoy spending their time together cooking and walking.

Alicia Aylies 

Aylies is the girlfriend of Kylian Mbappe, the highest-paid footballer in the world with an annual salary of €90.9 million, who plays for Paris Saint-Germain. The pair have been together since 2018.

Aside from her footballer boyfriend, Aylies is best known for winning Miss France 2017. Before becoming a model, she studied law. 

Both Alicia and Mbappe reached their worldwide fame at a very young age. The couple is trying to keep their love affair private.
