Rabat – Three Moroccan companies are in 2022’s top 29 best employers in Africa, according to a ranking from the Great Places To Work organization.
Casablanca-based mineral water company Les Eaux Minerales d’Oulmes ranked in the 13th place, followed by Morocco’s banking group, Group Banque Central Populaire, which ranked in the 21st place following, the country’s state-owned holding CDG Capital that ranked 28th.
The ranking also features Moroccan subsidiaries of international companies. Moroccan subsidiary of tech company Dell tops the list, followed by banking groups including french company Alsa in the 27th position, construction material company Hilti came seventh, and French aviation company Safran Group ranked in sixth place.
According to the findings from 2022’s report, the organization maintains that last year’s top-performing companies in Africa continued to invest in creating highly-engaging workplaces.
In an earlier ranking from the company released in January from the same organization, drilling-equipment company, Hilti Morocco topped the list of the best employers in Morocco, followed by manufacturing firm BSH, and investment group Asma Invest in the third place.
In this year’s report, the organization found that given the challenges African companies face in terms of retaining talent, focusing on creating a worker-friendly environment is of critical importance as employees are three times more likely to leave their current job when they feel that their job compromises their well-being.
