Rabat –  King Mohammed VI will receive the CAF President’s “Outstanding Achievement Award” on Tuesday, March 14 in recognition of his remarkable contributions to the development of African football in 2022.

The Moroccan monarch will receive the award from Patrice Motsepe, the President Confederation of African Football (CAF) in a distinguished ceremony in Kigali, the capital of Rwanda, CAF indicated on Tuesday in a press release.

Several prominent sports figures will attend the event, including FIFA President Gianni Infantino, CAF Executive Committee, CAF Member Association Presidents, and “football legends,” added the statement.
