Rabat – Moroccan football player and Sevilla FC striker Youssef En-Nesyri is reportedly on the radar of three clubs from England’s Premier League, including Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham, and Crystal Palace.

English sports outlet The Hard Tackle has reported that Tottenham and Crystal Palace are interested in signing the Atlas Lions from Sevilla at the end of the season, noting that the Spanish club wants around €40 million (MAD 443.8 million) for En-Nesyri.

Fichajes, a football transfers-focused Spanish outlet, confirmed  the news, saying that “Sevilla FC has raised En-Nesyri’s price again to make money this summer.”

The Spanish website expects the Premier League to be En-Nesyri’s most likely destination should he decide to leave the Spanish club in the upcoming summer transfer window.

The Moroccan footballer caught the attention of several elite European clubs following his iconic performance at the 2022 Qatar World Cup, during which the Moroccan national team became the first Arab and African team to reach the tournament’s semi-finals.

En-Nesyri greatly contributed to the Atlas Lions’ fairytale World Cup journey, particularly capturing the attention of the footballing world with his iconic match-winning header against Portugal in the quarter-finals.

He also produced strong performances with Sevilla this season, scoring a total of 13 goals across tournaments, including Spain’s top-tier league La Liga, the European Champions League, and Europa League.

Despite having received many good offers during the winter transfer window, En-Nesyri pledged his loyalty to Sevilla FC. “I thank all the clubs that have contacted my agent, but at the moment I want to have my head only in Sevilla. It’s not a money issue, but a sporting issue,” he said in January.

However, the latest reports expect the Moroccan striker to change his mind in July if a club tables a good offer that meets his financial and career ambitions.
