Rabat – The Ministry of National Education, Preschool, and Sports announced on June 18 the date for the reveal of national baccalaureate exam results, confirming that the results of the exams will be announced on June 19 at 12:00 a.m.
The ministry confirmed the date in a memo sent to regional academy directors, calling on them to take the necessary measures to announce the results in their affiliated educational institutions.
Students can see their results on the Ministry’s website or the Taalim website, by entering their Masar identification numbers and passwords.
On the eve prior to the results reveal, a large number of students received their grade point average (GPA) by SMS, while waiting for the detailed results to appear in the aforementioned websites.
Students who have not been successful in the first session will have to take the make-up exam as a second chance to improve their performances. The make-up exam will take place between July 5-8, and the results will be announced on July 13.
Over 400,000 candidates took the baccalaureate exams this year, an increase of 18% compared to the previous academic year.
Furthermore, the Minister of National Education, Preschool, and Sports Chakib Benmoussa announced in a statement that the ministry will provide digitized baccalaureate certificates to students starting with this year’s cohort, as part of the efforts to digitize the education sector.
Digitizing the certificates will hinder any attempt of forgery and will reduce the time between announcement of exam results and delivery of the document to graduates.
