Rabat – Despite his contract with Bayern Munich running until 2026, Morocco’s Noussair Mazraoui is reportedly still considering leaving the German club during the coming summer transfer window, according to a tweet by @iMiaSanMia on June 4.
Having been benched by Bayern manager Thomas Tuchel, the Moroccan defender Nouissair Mazraoui no longer feels wanted by, or at home with, the German club.
Among the players that are considering leaving Bayern Munich along with Mazraoui is the Senegalese forward Sadio Mane. The Senegalese player’s performances have been underwhelming and, like Mazraoui, he does not feel wanted or important at Bayern Munich.
Also on the list of potential exits are Daley Blind, who was brought in on a “disappointing” short-term deal and has played in only four games. Another name on the list is Swiss goalkeeper Yann Sommer, whom Bayern only signed in January. Sommer was reportedly not the club’s first choice as they preferred Kasper Schmeichel.
Rumors have it that Mazraoui could play a major role with Bayern next season, but the Moroccan player is reportedly determined to put his contract to an end, which would be costly for Bayern to let four players leave at once.

FC Barcelona and Bayern Munich have reportedly been in discussions over a potential transfer for Mazraoui, with Barca inquiring about the player’s price tag.
Mazraoui played less games under the management of the former coach Julian Nagelsmann. However, he scored one goal and got an assist in the Bundesliga.
Due to the club’s “disappointing season,” Mazraoui’s time with Bayern could draw to a close much sooner than anticipated with a probable departure of Tuchel, according to the Spanish newspaper El Nacional.
Bayern Munich underperformed beyond recognition in this year’s DFB Pokal cup and the UEFA Champions League, but they managed to maintain their titles at the Bundesliga championship 2023.
