Rabat – Saudi club Al Hilal are reportedly willing to pay €45 million to secure the services of Moroccan striker Youssef En-Nesyri from Sevilla FC this summer, according to Spanish daily AS.

The Saudi club would offer the Atlas Lion a three-year contract, according to the same source.

The Moroccan striker had a stellar season with Sevilla, tallying 18 goals and one assist in 48 appearances and helping the club win their seventh Europa League title.

However, the Spanish team’s financial issues could cause them to decide to let the star striker go.

The Moroccan player has already declined an offer from Premier League club West Ham United on two separate occasions. However, due to the substantial sum of money being offered, AS speculates that the player and the board may take the Al Hilal’s offer into consideration.

Newcastle United and Inter Milan have also shown interest in the Moroccan footballer, although no firm bid has been made, according to reports.

Tottenham Hotspur and Crystal Palace, two other Premier League clubs, also reportedly made moves for the striker in April.

English sports outlet The Hard Tackle noted that the Spanish club was seeking close to €40 million in exchange for En-Nesyri.

A Spanish publication that focuses on football transactions, Fichajes, corroborated the information by stating that “Sevilla FC has raised En-Nesyri’s price again to make money this summer.”
