Rabat – According to Foot Mercato, Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) have made Sevilla a €12 million offer to obtain the services of Moroccan goalkeeper Yassine Bounou.

The Spanish club has reportedly put a price tag of €15 million on its goalkeeper, plus an additional €3 million in variables.

The 32-year-old international goalkeeper’s contract is expected to expire in two years’ time. This has led the French club to a first bid of €12 million with bonuses, in an effort to persuade Sevilla FC to release the player.

PSG notably recently appointed Luis Enrique as manager, who is reportedly the one who asked for the transfer. Enrique’s previous job coaching the Spanish national team ended with a defeat to Morocco, where Bounou saved three penalties from the Spanish team.

Last season, Bounou led Sevilla to its seventh Europa League title, and Morocco to the 2022 FIFA World Cup semifinals in Qatar.

Numerous teams, including FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester United, Inter Milan, and Saudi Arabian sides have been linked with the Moroccan goalkeeper to reinforce their teams.
