Rabat – Amine Adli, who plays as a winger for Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen, was called up by Morocco’s head coach Walid Regragui for the September international break.
The 23-year-old talent will join the Atlas Lions where they will face Burkina Faso and Liberia.
Amine Adli was born on July 10, 2000, in Toulouse, France, where he started his football career. His professional debut was when he joined the senior team of Toulouse FC in 2018.
Adli previously represented France at the youth level where he took part in 18 matches and scored three goals.
In 2021, the right-winger joined Bayer Leverkusen in a 7.5 million euro deal valid until the summer of 2026.
According to the official Bundesliga website, Adli was Leverkusen’s third-best player for combined goals and assists in the 2022-23 season.
