Rabat – Members of the Judicial Police arrested on October 28 in the Ain Sebaa security zone in Casablanca a sixty-year-old man with a criminal record for his involvement in three premeditated murders, according to a security source.
The source also reported that the national security services were notified on September 17 to open an investigation into the disappearance of the suspect’s first victim, aged 72.
An extensive investigation revealed that the victim’s alleged neighbor had lured her to his second home in the “Sidi Hajjaj” on the outskirts of Casablanca, where he killed her and buried her in the courtyard.
According to the same source, search operations revealed that the suspect had committed two identical murders and had used the same illegal technique to kill both a woman and a man of his acquaintance.
The bodies of the last two victims were found buried in the courtyard of the same house, next to the body of the third victim.
In order to determine the exact motives and backgrounds behind the commission of these illegal crimes, the defendant was detained and made the subject of a judicial investigation supervised by the competent public prosecutor’s office.
The news comes as the judicial police in Casablanca have been on heavy duty lately in the hunt for dangerous criminals.
On August 7, a suspect was taken into custody by judicial police in Casablanca and Tangier following a horrific, premeditated hit-and-run incident that left a woman dead.
According to preliminary data, the victim, a 27-year-old lady, was intentionally driven over by an unidentified car whose driver left the scene.
Both the victim and the vehicle that killed her were identified via research and investigation.
