Rabat – Wydad Casablanca and Esperance Sportive Tunis will face off in the first leg of the African Football League semi-finals tonight.
Casablanca’s Wydad AC will host ES Tunis at the Mohammed V Complex in Casablanca tonight at 7 P.M. local time.
The match will be broadcast live on Arryadia, Abu Dhabi Sports, On Time, L’Equipe Live, FIFA+, and AFL platforms.
The clash between the two Maghreb clubs promises an exciting showdown, with Wydad benefiting from home advantage and enthusiastic fan support following their 4-0 aggregate victory over Nigeria’s Enyimba FC in the quarter-finals.
Prior to the Sunday game, Wydad AC scored an emphatic 3-0 home win against Enyimba, in addition to their previous 0-1 away victory.
Meanwhile, the Tunisian side sustained an initial 1-0 loss but managed to turn the odds around against Congolese club TP Mazembe, scoring a 3-0 win in the return leg.
Both teams will seek to build on their previous successes to gain an advantage in securing a spot in the final. The return leg will be played next Wednesday in Rades, the southern suburb of Tunis.
