Israel continues its war crimes against Palestinians as new airstrikes bombed a church where a “large number” of displaced people in Gaza took shelter.

The besieged Palestinian enclave’s interior ministry announced the news, saying that the Israeli aggression left a “large number” of people dead while many others were injured.

The attack took place on Thursday night against the Greek orthodox Saint Porphyrius Church in Gaza, Al Jazeera reported today.

The church is located near the Baptist hospital, which the Israeli army bombed on Tuesday – killing at least 500 Palestinians while injuring hundreds of others.

Israel continues its war crimes amid the international community’s inaction.

The UN along with a score of countries have been condemning Israeli attacks against civilians but failed to hold Israel responsible or to ensure an immediate ceasefire to put an end to the massacres and genocide of Palestinians.

The situation sparked international uproar and protests across the world, including in the Middle East and Africa.

Moroccans have been rallying against Israeli aggression in a series of protests across the country, including in Rabat and Casablanca.

Among the protestors’ demands are appeals to the government to cut diplomatic ties with Israel amid its war crimes against Palestinians.

Several reports said that the liaison office of Israel in Morocco has been evacuated amid the protests. However, spokesperson for Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs Lior Ben Dor denied the closing of the representation in Rabat.

He also touted relations with Morocco, describing them as “strong and solid.”

“We didn’t close down our liaison office in Rabat,” Ben Dor told Morocco World News but declined to provide more information regarding the relocation of the office’s personnel evacuation in light of recent events.

Morocco has also been among the countries that condemned the situation amid Israeli raids, including the one that targeted the Gaza hospital.

The latest updates show that the death toll caused by Israeli aggression claimed the lives of over 3,7 Palestinians, while more than 13,000 were injured.
