Rabat – American computer technology company Oracle signed today a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with Morocco’s Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research, and Innovation, and the Ministry of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform.
The collaboration aims to advance skills in various domains and emerging digital technologies using Oracle’s expertise, resources, and software, according to a joint press release from the two ministries.
In addition, the agreement seeks to reshape Morocco’s educational landscape, aligning with the National Plan for Accelerating the Transformation of Higher Education, Scientific Research, and Innovation by 2030 (PACTE ESRI 2030), added the statement.
It particularly emphasized the establishment and implementation of “Code 212” Centers within Moroccan universities.
The collaboration is in line with the vision of the Ministry of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform, which seeks to increase the number of professionals skilled in digital careers.
The initiative supports Morocco’s commitment to becoming a key producer of digital solutions, addressing the needs of both national and international investors, added the statement.
Under the agreement, professors and students will benefit from free and unlimited access to Oracle’s training programs, learning resources, and software across various digital domains.

In addition, students in digital fields will have the opportunity to earn professional certifications from Oracle in high-demand technologies to enhance their career prospects, underlined the statement.
It noted that these certifications will also be available to students in other fields, enabling them to acquire dual competencies in technology and strengthen their employability.

“At a time when Moroccan universities are committed to leveraging technological innovations to enhance the educational experience of students and promote their success, this partnership program will contribute to the growth of digital professions,” underlined the statement.
This, in turn, is expected to reinforce Morocco’s competitiveness and attractiveness on the international stage, stimulate investments, and strengthen the national economy.
The statement highlighted Oracle’s history of training professionals globally through Oracle Academy for more than 30 years.
