Rabat – In keeping with its commitment to youth inclusion and empowerment, Morocco World News (MWN) organized today in the Moroccan capital city the second day of the Rabat networking Days (RND).

As in the previous two editions of the RND aimed at promoting future talents, experts in various fields met with students to share knowledge and illuminate their path to a better future and a better Morocco.

The participating students visited a number of locations around Rabat, including the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung, the Agency for Digital Development, the Canadian and Irish Embassy, and the Moroccan Altwork.

Meanwhile, as part of its collaboration with RND, the Konrad Adenauer Foundation addressed the issue of climate change under the theme “Energy Security and Climate Change,” as Morocco has been struggling with a lack of rainfall in recent years.

“Climate change is an opportunity for Morocco to invest in renewable energy,” said Hamza Saidi, Project Manager at the Konrad Adenauer Foundation.

The soon-to-be graduates received guidance from the foundation’s staff on how to maintain a positive attitude during the graduation process. In addition, the staff members shared their past experiences as students to provide additional motivation.

Afterwards, the host institution gave the students an opportunity to express their wishes and expectations in terms of what they would like the Foundation to start doing or what they would like it to refrain from doing. In particular, the students inquired about future internships and career prospects and were thrilled that the Foundation was eager to respond to their concerns.

With many set to graduate soon, the students asked for guidance on whether to look for work or pursue their master’s degrees.

At the end of the event, the students, who had been divided into several groups, headed to the Marriott Hotel to continue networking.

Impressed by the success of the event, the quality of the reception, and the excellence and insight of discussions and presentations, the students requested that future editions be planned to recreate such a lively environment for expertise sharing, learning, and networking.
