Fez – The Palestinian Government Information Office reported that 104 Palestinians were killed and 700 injured in a massacre near the Nabulsi roundabout in Gaza after the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) fired at a gathering of citizens waiting to receive aid.

“This massacre represents a cold-blooded genocide of the people of the Strip,” the office added, noting that the victims were lining up to receive aid for their families, without engaging with any of the Israeli forces.

The office called the Arab and Islamic world to intervene immediately to stop the genocidal war, and hold the American administration, the international community, and Israel responsible for this horrific massacre.

Al Jazeera reported that the wounded were transferred to Al-Shifa Complex, Kamal Adwan Hospital, and Al-Awda Hospital, in light of the absence of proper medical care.

For his part, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Health in Gaza, Ashraf Al-Qudra, said that the recent massacres committed by the occupation constitute a new escalation in the ongoing brutal campaign against civilians.

Al-Qudra told Al Jazeera that the death toll from the Al-Rashid Street massacre near the Nabulsi roundabout would likely rise after a large number of critical cases arrived at Al-Shifa Complex.

He added that the occupation forces are committing a genocide against 700,000 people in northern Gaza through both targeting and starvation.

Oxfam Charity Foundation expressed its shock at reports of civilian people being killed in Gaza while waiting for food aid.

The London based NGO , added in a post on X (formerly Twitter) that Israel’s deliberate targeting of civilians after starving them is a flagrant violation of international humanitarian laws.

Hamas called on the UN Security Council and the League of Arab States to convene urgently and take steps to stop the mass killing and ethnic cleansing in Gaza.

Hamas urged the Arabs and Muslims of the world to condemn this massacre and clearly address the issue.

For his part, the director of the nursing department at Al-Shifa Complex told Al Jazeera that what the world is  witnessing today is reminiscent of the Baptist Hospital massacre, where the hospital received hundreds of wounded as a result of the Israeli bombing on the Nabulsi roundabout.

“Al-Shifa Complex only has 3 small operating rooms with limited capabilities, therefore it remains unable to receive all the wounded,” he added.

On Thursday morning, dozens of bodies were transferred to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital as a result of an Israeli bombing on Deir al-Balah in the middle of Gaza. Pictures depict bodies piled up on the floor of the hospital due to lack of mortuary cabinets.

Meanwhile, the media advisor to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) said that the situation in Gaza is catastrophic, especially in the north, and the population is not able to confront diseases.

The advisor called for the opening of all land crossings with Gaza and accelerating inspections and entry of humanitarian aid.

Also, the Ministry of Health revealed Wednesday that the residents of northern Gaza lost access to most health services after the generator of Kamal Adwan Hospital went out of service due to lack of fuel.

The Ministry also announced that the death toll from the Israeli aggression has exceeded 30,000 since October 7, while Israeli forces continue to launch violent raids against civilians all throughout Gaza.
