Rabat – Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan chaired in Tetouan today a special lunch hosted by Morocco’s Head of Government, Aziz Akhannouch.
The event marked the 25th anniversary of King Mohammed VI’s accession to the throne.
The Crown Prince’s visit began with a ceremonial review of a Royal Guard detachment, which paid tribute in honor of the occasion.
Following the formalities, Prince Moulay El Hassan was welcomed by a distinguished group including the Head of Government Akhannouch, the Wali of the Tanger-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region, the governor of the Tanger-Assilah prefecture, the president of the regional council, and the governor of Tetouan province.
The luncheon brought together an array of high-profile attendees. Among those present were the Presidents of Morocco’s House of Representatives and House of Councillors, royal advisors, and government ministers.
The list of attendees also included leaders of constitutional institutions, senior officers of the Royal Armed Forces General Staff, members of the diplomatic corps, and other notable figures from both civilian and military spheres.
The event celebrated the longstanding reign of King Mohammed VI and showcased the unity and tradition of Morocco’s royal and governmental institutions.
The lunch followed a reception ceremony earlier today chaired by King Mohammed VI celebrating the 25th anniversary of his ascension to the throne.
The ceremony was attended by numerous distinguished Moroccan and foreign dignitaries, all of whom offered their congratulations and best wishes to King Mohammed VI on what they described as 25 years of visionary and transformational leadership.
Prominent figures in attendance included Prime Minister Aziz Akhannouch, House of Representatives Speaker Rachid Talbi Alami, House of Councilors President Enaam Mayara.
