Rabat –  Valencia CF Femenino has finalized a deal to secure Moroccan footballer Yasmin Mrabet’s services until June 30, 2026.

The midfielder joins from FC Levante Las Planas, where she accumulated more than 70 appearances over the past three seasons.

In a video shared on her Instagram account, Mrabet expressed her pride in joining the club.“I’m so proud to be a part of this club. I take this opportunity with excitement, and I can’t wait to wear this shirt and start competition,” she stated.

Yasmin began her football career with Madrid CFF (2011-2020) before transitioning to Rayo Vallecano (2020-2021) and then FC Levante Las Planas (2021-2024).

As a teenager, Mrabet regularly featured for Madrid CFF in the Liga Iberdrola, amassing over 50 appearances in the top flight before her move to Rayo Vallecano in 2020.

She netted eight goals in 27 appearances in the 2021-2022 season, playing a pivotal role in Levante Las Planas’ capture of the Reto Iberdrola title and subsequent promotion to Liga F for the following season.

The midfielder previously represented Spain at youth level, notably competing in the 2018 UEFA Women’s Under-19 Championship.

She later changed her allegiance to Morocco and made her senior debut in November 2021, starting in a 2–0 friendly victory over Senegal at home.

Born and raised in Spain to a Moroccan father and an English mother, Mrabet plays as a center-back for the Morocco women’s national team.

She was part of the Atlas Lionesses squad for the 2022 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco. In July 2022, she notably clinched Morocco’s winning goal in the quarterfinal clash against Botswana, securing the country’s qualification for the FIFA Women’s 2023 World Cup.

Her other notable goal for Morocco came during the 2023 Turkish Women’s Cup, contributing to a 3–0 triumph over Slovakia.
