Algeria’s rising Muay Thai star Nabil Anane is set to face another big test in martial arts organization ONE Championship.
Anane will compete against Burmese fighter Soe Lin Oo in a Bantamweight Muay Thai contest on September 27 at ONE Friday Fights 81.
Anane most recently picked up the biggest win of his career against former ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai world title challenger at ONE Fight Night 24 on August 3.
The win is the fourth in a row for the 20-year-old Algerian who had beaten Thailand’s Nakrob Fairtex, Muangthai PK Saenchai, and Kulabdam Sor Jor Piek Uthai at the organization’s weekly fight series, ONE Friday Fights.
Anane faces 32-year-old veteran Soe Lin Oo whose ONE record stands at 3-0 with all three wins coming via finishes.
The youngest Muay Thai champion in the history of World Boxing Council (WBC) joins his compatriot Akram Hamidi and Morocco’s kickboxing star Ilias Ennahachi on the ONE Friday Fights 81 card.
Hamidi challenges Thai veteran and former Muay Thai and Kickboxing champion Sam-A Gaiyanghadao in a Strawweight Muay Thai contest.
Meanwhile, former ONE Flyweight Kickboxing champion Ilias Ennahachi, who owns a clean record in the organiziation, faces Hiroki Akimoto in a Bantamweight Kickboxing bout.
ONE Friday Fights 81 kicks off at 1:30 PM (WET) on Friday, September 27.
