Join on Telegram Rabat – Morocco will be the guest of honor at the sixth edition of the Alicante Gastronomic Fair, set to take place from September 27 to 30 in the vibrant port city of Alicante, southeastern Spain.
With over 250 exhibitors and an expected attendance of more than 75,000 visitors, this event promises to be a culinary extravaganza.
The Moroccan presence at the fair is a collaborative effort between the Moroccan Embassy in Spain, the Agency for the Promotion and Development of the North (APDN), and the Kingdom’s Consulate in Valencia.
The initiative aims to showcase Morocco’s rich culinary heritage through an array of gastronomic products and an engaging program of cooking demonstrations led by renowned chef Amer Bouhlal from Tangier.
Throughout the four-day fair, attendees at the Moroccan stand will have the chance to explore the country’s diverse tourist attractions through a combination of written and audiovisual presentations.
Visitors will also enjoy culinary delights crafted by Najat Kaanache, a celebrated Moroccan chef recognized for her training in some of the world’s most prestigious kitchens.
The Alicante Gastronomic Fair stands as Spain’s largest culinary event, this year welcoming an impressive roster of talent, including 120 Michelin-starred chefs and 10 Repsol Suns.
These culinary luminaries will unveil the latest trends and specialties from Spain and beyond, enriching the fair’s dynamic atmosphere.
The program, organized by the Alicante Provincial Council, the Chamber of Commerce, the Alicantina Trade Fair, and the Valencia Tourist Board, features a comprehensive lineup of gastronomic conferences, workshops, competitions, and product tastings.
This year’s fair will not only celebrate culinary excellence but also provide a platform to foster connections between producers and the public, highlighting the significance of gastronomy in cultural exchange.
