Rabat – Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti continues to express Brahim Diaz’ importance for the renowned La Liga club.
In a recent press conference ahead of the Los Blancos latest game against Leganes, Ancelotti commended the Moroccan Atlas Lion’s performances and his strong return to form on the pitch.
He also commended his performance with Morocco’s national football team.
“He’s come back in extraordinary condition. He will be important for us, he plays as a winger and helps the midfielders. He will be as important as last year, and I think he will have even more prominence,” Ancelotti said.
Diaz scored five goals with Morocco during the AFCON qualifiers, including a stunning hat-trick against Lesotho.
The Atlas Lion made headlines for his spectacular performances with Morocco.
Last week, Spanish news outlet Marca wrote that it was impressed by Diaz’s performance, adding that “the exit door” for the player at Real Madrid is “completely shut leaving no room for speculation- at least from the club leadership.”
“The five goals he scored in his last matches for Morocco serve as yet another credential for the coaching staff, showcasing his capabilities,” the sports news outlet added.
