Rabat – The Moroccan Capital Market Authority (AMMC) has launched an online platform called “Le Marché des Capitaux pour Tous” (The Capital Market for Everyone) to promote financial education focused on capital markets.

The new website, available in  both Arabic and French, aims to make investment and capital market concepts easy to understand and accessible for everyone in Morocco, the AMMC announced in a statement.

It added that the platform offers a wide range of educational content created by the AMMC. It is designed to explain the basics of saving and investing in a simple and interactive way, the statement said.

AMMC added that users can access Investor Guides, brochures, games, quizzes, video tutorials, and simulators. This approach aims to make learning fun and practical.

The move is part of AMMC’s plan for 2024-2028, which also aims to promote financial education among citizens. For AMMC, financial knowledge is essential for developing the capital market and increasing financial inclusion in Morocco.

The capital market authority is also trying to reach the public through national radio campaigns and on-site programs for students in schools and universities.

Currently, more Moroccans are seeking to improve their financial literacy and explore new income sources, moving away from traditional career paths. Many people are looking for ways to learn how to invest, save, and manage their money better.

The number of Moroccan content creators offering financial education and investment-related content has been on the rise in recent years.

This includes content on how to invest in the stock market and cryptocurrency, save for entrepreneurial ventures, as well as understanding how to build wealth independently.
