Rabat – FIFA has officially unveiled the group stage schedule for the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, set to take place in the United States. Wydad Casablanca, representing Morocco, is scheduled to face a challenging lineup in Group G, with matches scheduled across two iconic venues.

The group includes  European champions Manchester City, Italian powerhouse Juventus, and UAE’s Al Ain, promising high-stakes matches and intense competition.

The Moroccan champions will begin their campaign on Wednesday, June 18, against European powerhouse Manchester City. The match is slated for 18:00 (GMT+1) at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, marking the start of an exciting journey for Wydad in this expanded tournament.

Four days later, on June 22, Wydad will take on Italy’s Juventus, again at Lincoln Financial Field. The clash, scheduled for 18:00 (GMT+1), promises to be another high-stakes encounter.

The final group stage match will see Wydad face Al Ain from the United Arab Emirates on Thursday, June 26. This pivotal match will take place at 21:00 (GMT+1) at Audi Field in Washington, DC.

Knockout Stage Scenarios

Should Wydad advance from Group G, their knockout stage matches will depend on their group position. If they finish first, they will face the second-placed team from Group H on Monday, June 30, at 9:00 PM at Camping World Stadium in Orlando.

Alternatively, a second-place finish in Group G would pit them against the Group H winner on Tuesday, July 1, at 3:00 PM at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.

The announcement sets the stage for Wydad Casablanca to showcase their talent on a global platform, facing some of the world’s top football clubs in what promises to be a landmark tournament for Moroccan football. Fans eagerly await the team’s performance in this historic event.
