Rabat – Morocco’s capital, Rabat, buzzed with excitement on Saturday as motorcyclists filled its streets for the second “Parade of Friends.”
The event celebrated Morocco’s successful joint bid with Spain and Portugal to host the 2030 FIFA World Cup.
The Forum of Parallel Diplomacy organized the parade in partnership with the Crète Atlas Club and the Professional Motorcyclists Solidarity Club of Morocco.
Men and women riders alike proudly displayed the flags of all three host nations as they rode through the capital.
Starting from Chellah Square, the motorcade traveled along the coastal road before reaching neighboring Sale.
The festive atmosphere included performances of the national anthem coupled with musical entertainment.
“Together, let’s celebrate the honor of hosting the 2030 World Cup in Morocco alongside Spain and Portugal,” said Adil Chafik, President of the Forum of Parallel Diplomacy, to the press.
He explained that the day unfolded in two phases, beginning with motorcyclists gathering from various regions of Morocco at Chellah before the official launch.

He further expressed to the press his club’s readiness and commitment to supporting this global event.

She said that the event embodies the spirit of cooperation between Morocco, Spain, and Portugal to ensure the success of the 2030 FIFA World Cup.
“Riders from across Morocco — from Tetouan, Meknes, Agadir, Casablanca, and Rabat — united with one goal: to express their pride and support for the Royal Moroccan Football Federation,” she remarked to the press.
