Fresh off their 1-0 win over Ghana, the Atlas Cubs showed no signs of slowing down. Ismail Alaoud broke the deadlock in the 26th minute before Adnan Khroubi sealed the victory in stoppage time.
With back-to-back wins, Morocco look sharp as they gear up for the U20 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Cote d’Ivoire from April 26 to May 18.
Next up is a rematch against Ghana tomorrow, as they push for a perfect end to the training camp.
Morocco’s U20 team faces a tough challenge in the U20 AFCON after being drawn into the group of death alongside African football heavyweights.
The Atlas Cubs will play in Group B alongside Nigeria, Egypt, and South Africa. This is one of the toughest groups in the competition, with two nations that have won the title many times.
