Rabat – Israel has taken a step to create and approve a new agency for what they term the “voluntary departure” of Palestinians.
Israel’s Minister of Defense Israel Katz said in a statement that the creation of the new directorate will be in charge of establishing movement routes and checking pedestrians at designated crossings in Gaza.
He also noted that it will work to “prepare for and enable safe and controlled passage of Gaza residents for their voluntary departure to third countries.”
This blatant move signals Israel’s intention to proceed with Trump’s plan to “take over” Gaza, starting with the forced displacement of Palestinians.
The Israeli minister informed that his country is putting all means in place “to implement the US president’s vision,” adding that they are ready to allow Gazans willing to move to a third state to do so.
His intentions are contradictory to reality: Palestinians are holding tight to their land and are aware that the US and Israeli plans will only lead to ethnic cleansing. Gazans want to put an end to the current Israeli hostilities and move into the next stage of the ceasefire deal that will bring back life to normal in the enclave.
Completely out of touch with Palestinian needs and wants, Katz further stated that the forced displacement will proceed according “to Israeli and international law and in accordance with the vision of US President Donald Trump.”

The approval of the new directorate to displace Palestinians is in line with Trump’s plan to essentially colonize Gaza and turn it into “the Riviera of the Middle East,” which was firmly rejected by the Arab world and other nations.
Israel’s new displacement agency comes after it resumed attacks on Gaza last Tuesday. Its relentless bombardment has already killed over 700 Palestinians and injured over 1000 others.
The Israeli Occupation Forces also issued evacuation orders that pushed thousands of Palestinians residing in the Tel al-Sultan area in Rafah to relocate on foot to the al-Mawasi area in south Gaza.
The situation in Gaza is worse than ever, as Israel has been collectively punishing Palestinians using food and humanitarian aid blockade as a weapon, and many NGOs and international organizations are sounding the alarm about the catastrophic conditions in the enclave.
