Morocco international Achraf Hakimi has been named the best right-back in France, earning his place in the Ligue 1 Team of the Season for 2024-25.
The Paris Saint-Germain star was among nine PSG players recognized at the French Professional Footballers’ Association awards on Sunday.
Joining Hakimi in the XI were teammates Marquinhos, Nuno Mendes, Willian Pacho, Vitinha, Joao Neves, Ousmane Dembele, Bradley Barcola and Desire Doue.

Lille goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier and Lyon’s Rayan Cherki were the only non-PSG players to make the cut.
Hakimi played a key role in PSG’s title-winning campaign, which they wrapped up with six games to spare. He also helped Luis Enrique’s side reach the Champions League final, where they will face his former club Inter Milan.
Since arriving in Paris from Inter in 2021, Hakimi has become a mainstay at right-back. He featured 45 times this season across all competitions, scoring seven goals and providing 14 assists.

PSG have tied down Achraf Hakimi to a new long-term contract, keeping the Morocco international at the club until 2029.
The deal, announced last February, is believed to make Hakimi the highest-paid right-back in world football, with reports suggesting he will earn €14 million per season.
