Cristiano Ronaldo has made it clear that he will stay at Al-Nassr despite ongoing rumours about his future.
The 40-year-old forward, whose contract ends on June 30, confirmed his decision after Portugal’s dramatic Nations League victory over Spain, where he scored his 138th international goal.

“Nothing is going to change. Playing at Al-Nassr? Yes,” Ronaldo said, putting an end to any uncertainty about his next move.
Earlier this week, Ronaldo had posted a cryptic message on social media, which sparked speculation he might leave the Saudi club. But after helping Portugal win the Nations League, he clarified that he would remain in Saudi Arabia.
Ronaldo joined Al-Nassr in January 2023 after leaving Manchester United. Although there had been talk of him joining a team for the Club World Cup, he confirmed that he would not participate in the tournament, dismissing the idea on Saturday.
After scoring a goal in the final against Spain, Ronaldo added to his impressive collection of international trophies, which includes the 2016 European Championship and the 2019 Nations League. “Nothing is better than winning with the national team,” he said after the 5-3 penalty shootout victory.
Portugal’s coach, Roberto Martinez, praised Ronaldo for his “decisive role” in helping Portugal lift the trophy, despite criticism of the team’s earlier performances.
