Rabat – Oncorad Group, a private health care provider in Morocco, has announced the appointment of Meryem Chami as Deputy Chief Executive Officer.

The move is part of the group’s efforts to support its strategic growth and expand access to specialized medical services across the country, the company said in a press release.

Chami is known for her experience in leading large organizations and managing complex changes, the statement said, noting that the new deputy CEO held several top positions before, including AXA Morocco and Africa.

She has worked in insurance, financial services, and strategic management for over 20 years, with a focus on innovation and long-term performance.

“I’m honored to join Oncorad at this important stage in its journey,” said Chami, who aims to bring her “strategic and operational experience to support the group’s growth and increase its social impact, while making sure that quality and fairness are at the heart of what we do.”

Founded in 2000 by Professor Redouane Samlali and Doctor Omar Hajji, Oncorad started with its first facility, Littoral Clinic in Casablanca, with focus on cancer treatment.

The group has since grown into a network of multidisciplinary clinics in Casablanca, Marrakech, Agadir, and Tangier. It now offers services in radiology, cardiology, general surgery, gynecology, oncology, and other areas.

For Samlali, Chairman of Oncorad Group, Chami’s appointment is an important step in strengthening the company’s leadership. He said her experience and understanding of social challenges will help the group reach its goal of providing Moroccans with fair access to high-quality healthcare.

As part of her new role, Chami will help lead the group’s expansion efforts, improve how the group manages its operations, and support the development of medical platforms across Morocco. She will also be involved in building new partnerships both inside and outside the country.
