MEDays’ 17th Edition in Tangier to Address Rising Global Tensions, Discuss Opportunities

Rabat – MEDays is coming in its 17th edition in Tangier from November 26-29, with a focus on rising global tensions and collaboration opportunities, particularly for Africa and countries of the Global South.

A statement from Institut Amadeus, which organizes the forum along with the MEDays Forum Foundation, said the event will gather over 300 speakers, including heads of state, ministers, as well as key decision makers in the global economy.

Over 7,000 participants from over 120 countries will take part in the forum, which will take place under the theme “Fractures and Polarization: Reinventing the Global Equation” to shed light on the growing tensions reshaping the international order.

Like the previous editions, the 2025  forum will cover over 50 sessions on different strategic topics. The focus not only on issues and challenges, but also opportunities facing Africa and countries of the global south.

The event also seeks to explore the opportunities arising from crises, the statement said, stressing that this year’s edition aims to serve as a “space for dialogue and influence where the emerging dynamics will be debated.”

“The challenge is no longer just about navigating crises, but about reinventing a more balanced and inclusive global equation,” the statement said. The organizers assert that this  situation requires a strong involvement of emerging nations to share a world “where multipolarity is not anonymous with instability but with complementarity and strategic balance.”
