Rabat — Morocco’s National Airports Office (ONDA) announced a new visual identity for the country’s airports on Monday.

The announcement comes as part of the organization’s “Airports 2030” strategy.

ONDA released a video featuring the fresh branding for Moroccan airports. Officials say the new identity aligns with Morocco’s Vision 2030 and the country’s plans beyond 2030.

“The new logo combines heritage symbols with openness to the world through the four cardinal points. The typography, clean lines, and colors of Morocco’s sky and earth strengthen this signature,” ONDA explained.

The organization designed the new identity to embody the passenger experience. It features a structured brand architecture and a new name that will appear in all airports: “Airports of Morocco.”

Strategic vision for airport development

ONDA unveiled its Airports 2030 strategy in February 2025. The plan aims to bring the kingdom’s airport infrastructure up to the best international standards.

The office aims to transform Moroccan airports into strategic, connected, and attractive hubs that align with the country’s economic and tourism objectives, as well as major sporting events, particularly as it is gearing up to host the 2025 AFCON and co-host the FIFA 2030 World Cup with Spain and Portugal.

The strategy focuses on three main areas: infrastructure development, reimagining the customer experience, and transforming ONDA itself.

Major expansion plans

ONDA plans to modernize and expand the main airport platforms. Casablanca Mohammed V Airport sits at the center of this transformation.

The facility is set to increase its capacity from 14 million to 35 million passengers by 2029, establishing itself as an intercontinental hub connecting Africa, Europe, Asia, and the Americas.

Other key airports will also undergo significant expansion work. Marrakech, Agadir, Tangier, and Fez airports will see major extensions. The goal is to double their capacities to meet the strong growth in air traffic demand.

The comprehensive overhaul represents Morocco’s commitment to positioning itself as a major aviation hub in the region while improving the travel experience for millions of passengers.
