Rabat – Iconic veteran actor Sayed Sadek died today, joining the list of great talents whose loss has left the Arab world mourning its acclaimed stars.
The actor’s son, Louay El Sayed, confirmed the news.
Sadek has left a long list of masterpieces behind, having featured in numerous series and movies throughout his career.
The actor appeared in several popular TV series like El Hakika wa Sarab and Yetrebi Fi Ezzo, among others.
Movies in which he featured also include Khali Balek Men A’akak, as well as other series featuring superstars like Adel Imam.
Recently, several actors and actresses who have once shaped the Arab world’s cinema have died.
In July, Lotfi Labib died at the age of 78, following a prolonged illness that led to a serious decline in his health.
In December last year, veteran Egyptian actor Nabil Halfawy also died at 77. In 2020, the world mourned Egyptian actor Mahmoud Yassine as well as Hassan Hosni.
