Marrakech – The National Railways Office (ONCF) has announced a special transportation plan for fans attending the Morocco-Niger World Cup qualifier match.
Two additional Al Boraq high-speed trains will depart from Rabat to Tangier at 11:25 p.m. and 11:55 p.m. on Friday, September 5, following the game at Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat.
This initiative aims to accommodate the expected high attendance and ensure comfortable, safe travel conditions for supporters leaving the stadium. The match, which begins at 8:00 p.m., has already sold out, with all tickets purchased within 24 hours of going on sale.
The ONCF situates this special service within its commitment to adapting transportation options for major sporting events and supporting fans of the Atlas Lions.

The sold-out match marks the official inauguration of the newly reconstructed 68,000-seat Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium, now equipped with modern infrastructure meeting international standards. The Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) has published a comprehensive guide for supporters detailing access procedures and security measures.
For ticket holders of categories I, II, and III, electronic tickets will be sent via email. VIP ticket holders must collect their tickets from designated locations in Rabat (Ibn Yassine Omnisports Hall) or Casablanca (Mohammed V Complex covered hall) between September 1 and the end of the first half on match day.
Collection points will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
The federation has implemented a modernized stadium access system. Two parking areas – north and south – have been arranged for supporters traveling from Casablanca, Rabat, or Temara. Only vehicles with special passes will be permitted to use these parking facilities.
Each ticket must be used sequentially to pass through different checkpoints: first entrance, gate, block, row, and finally the numbered seat. Support staff will be available to guide spectators to their designated seats, which must be strictly respected.
Head coach Walid Regragui has selected 27 players for the crucial qualifier, including stars Achraf Hakimi, Yassine Bounou, and Brahim Diaz.
Morocco currently leads Group E with 15 points from five victories, ahead of Tanzania (9 points) and Zambia (6 points). Niger also has 6 points and sits in fourth place.
The match is part of Africa’s qualifying campaign for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, with nine African teams guaranteed to advance to the finals and one additional team participating in the FIFA playoff tournament.
