Rabat — With just a handful of weeks to go before the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON 2025) gets underway, Morocco has now opened up the second phase of ticket sales and officially confirmed that electronic visas through the Yalla app are now free of charge.
All this was announced by the Local Organizing Committee while preparing for the tournament, which kicks off on December 21.
The first lot of tickets went on sale back in early October and they sold out pretty quickly for any match that Morocco were involved in. The second phase of ticket sales opened in late October and this time it included hospitality packages with premium seats, VIP lounges and private boxes.

Free e-Visas and the integration with Fan ID
The Yalla mobile app — the official app of AFCON 2025 — now handles both the Fan ID and the e-visa in one package. And now that they’ve taken away the visa fees, it will be even easier for international fans to make their way to Morocco and get in on the action.
The Yalla app is the central hub for all things AFCON 2025 and is available to download from the App Store and Google Play, and you can also get to it via the web at www.yallamorocco.ma.
Ticket prices for the group stage matches kick off at around 100 MAD for the budget option and can go up to 400 MAD or a bit more for the really top-drawer seats especially for Morocco games, or if it’s an important match.
Every ticket needs a Fan ID, which you can get through the Yalla app. And each Fan ID allows you to buy just one ticket per match, which are issued in the buyer’s name. Plus, the digital ticket is linked to the QR code on the Fan ID, and you’ll need to show that, along with some ID, to get into the stadium.
The new system is all about making sure that everyone has a great time and that includes security, transparency and just making things easier all round.
With all this done and dusted now, and with visa barriers gone and a second wave of tickets on the go, Morocco’s preparations are getting to the final stretch and the excitement among fans at home and abroad is really building.
