Rabat – Morocco’s Chaimae El Haiti scooped up the silver medal in the women’s under 55 kg kumite division on Tuesday at the 2025 Islamic Solidarity Games in Riyadh — a pretty impressive result from the Moroccan team.
El Haiti’s win was a reflection of her rising career, but also a testament to all the hard work she’d put in. At only 24-years-old she has some impressive performances so far in her career, including winning the gold in the 50kg category at the 2021 Islamic Solidarity Games in Konya.
She also managed to win a bronze medal in the 50kg category at the Mediterranean Games in Oran in 2022. Now, this time around, she moved up to the -55kg category and won a faultless qualification round then reached the final where she faced real tough opposition and still managed that silver.
