Rabat – The draw for the 2026 FIFA World Cup has placed Morocco in Group C alongside Brazil, Scotland, and Haiti. This marks Morocco’s 7th World Cup appearance, and their third consecutive qualification, underlining the team’s consistency as Africa’s leading side.
In 1998, Morocco also landed in a group that included Brazil and Scotland, alongside Norway.
Morocco enter the tournament with confidence after their historic semifinal run in Qatar 2022, where they became the first African and Arab nation to reach the last four.
Coach Walid Regragui leads a squad that blends experienced leaders such as Achraf Hakimi, Sofyan Amrabat, Yassine Bounou, and Noussair Mazraoui with rising talents from Europe’s top leagues.
