Mohammedia – Helios Investment Partners and Fipar-Holding, a subsidiary of CDG Invest, have unveiled a new digital infrastructure platform designed to accelerate Morocco’s technological transition and consolidate key players in the sector.
The initiative, announced on 8 December 2025, marks the creation of 3MDC, an integrated platform built around the acquisition of Maroc Datacenter, Munisys and Medasys — three of the country’s most established firms in cloud services, cybersecurity, and digital systems integration.
The move positions Morocco to strengthen its standing as a regional technology hub, expanding its digital sovereignty while bolstering local capacity for secure and scalable cloud and data services.
According to the companies, 3MDC brings together MDC’s Tier III carrier-neutral datacenter, Munisys’ long-standing expertise in hybrid cloud and cybersecurity, and Medasys’ strong technical foundation and knowledge of the national IT ecosystem.
The combined capabilities are expected to offer end-to-end digital solutions to both enterprise and public-sector clients across Morocco and Southern Europe.
Helios, acting on behalf of funds it advises, will hold 44% of the new platform. Fipar-Holding will own 40%, while founders and management of the integrated companies retain a collective 16% stake.
The structure is presented as a balance between international investment capacity and national institutional backing, aiming to ensure alignment with Morocco’s broader digital ambitions.
Executives from all three companies emphasized how the merger is intended to enhance digital security, expand sovereign data capacity, and accelerate the rollout of modern infrastructure.
Helios highlighted its track record in African digital projects, noting that the consolidated platform reflects confidence in the continent’s digital future.
A consolidated push toward digital sovereignty
Industry leaders involved in the transaction pointed to the strategic significance of building a unified, locally anchored infrastructure capable of supporting Morocco’s rapidly expanding digital economy.
Fipar-Holding described the partnership as a step toward establishing a resilient and inclusive digital ecosystem, enabling businesses and public institutions to transition more confidently to cloud-based and secure data environments.
Munisys’ leadership noted that the backing of Helios and Fipar will allow the company to scale its cybersecurity and cloud offerings while delivering more reliable services through the newly combined platform.
Maroc Datacenter’s CEO framed the move as a natural progression in its evolution, reinforcing the company’s vision of strengthening national digital sovereignty.
Each of the three companies brings a significant portfolio to the new entity. Munisys has more than three decades of experience supporting digital transitions, with expertise spanning infrastructure deployment, systems integration, and managed services.
Maroc Datacenter contributes high-availability data center facilities and cloud infrastructures aligned with international standards.
Based in Rabat, Medasys reinforces the platform with strong systems integration capabilities and a large client base across public and private sectors.
Together, they aim to build a scalable, future-ready infrastructure foundation for organizations seeking secure digital growth.
