Rabat Business School Launches First MBA Alumni Office

Rabat – The International University of Rabat’s (UIR) Business School (RBS) celebrated a milestone event on Friday as it officially opened its first MBA Alumni Office, a new initiative designed to support graduates long after they finish their studies.

“It’s a special day,” Tarik Zouadi, Director of Executive and Corporate Education at RBS, told Morocco World News as he explained that the main goal of this new office is to create a strong connection between the school and its alumni. 

The office will play several important roles, including helping graduates with their careers, expanding partnerships with companies and organizations, and strengthening the professional network of all MBA cohorts, Zouadi stated.

More than 250 directors and senior managers attended the event to explore the opportunities this new alumni office offers and to discuss the challenges and future prospects it will help address. This high turnout reflected the significance of the moment for the school as well as the interest of the wider professional community in fostering stronger ties between business education and industry.

According to Zouadi, the MBA program at RBS goes beyond a traditional academic experience. “The program doesn’t end at graduation,” he said. The school provides continued support and opportunities even after students receive their degrees. The new office will act as a bridge that connects current students with past graduates, helping to form a cohesive and active professional network that can support career growth at every stage.

Meanwhile, Ihssan Genouna, a 2025 MBA graduate and production manager in the automotive industry, shared her personal journey. After 13 years of professional experience in operations, she decided to go back to school because he believes that “the best leaders never stop learning.” Genouna chose Rabat Business School because of its strong reputation in Morocco and its modern approach to education.

Genouna highlighted how the program’s courses in business intelligence, artificial intelligence, and leadership were transformative for her.
